Hamilton, NJ – Arthur Herz Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on Black Horse Pike at Rte 50

Hamilton, NJ (May 20, 2024) – 61-year-old Arthur Herz of Mays Landing, Hamilton, was struck by a Jeep Cherokee as he was crossing the westbound lanes of Black Horse Pike near Route 50 on May 17. Herz was pronounced deceased at the scene. Responders were sent to the area at approximately 8:20 p.m. after receiving reports concerning the crash. The driver of the Jeep sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police continue to investigate.
