Union Township, NJ (December 15, 2025) – A New Jersey State Police trooper sustained injuries following a crash that occurred on Sunday, December 14, while the officer was on duty along Interstate 78 in Union Township. The incident happened as the trooper assisted at the scene of a separate traffic crash.
According to officials, the trooper sat inside a marked patrol vehicle with emergency lights activated at the time of the incident.
