Bedford Park, NY – Pedestrian Critically Injured in Crash on Bainbridge Ave near E Mosholu Pk S
Bedford Park, NY (July 5, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a car crash in Bedford Park on Thursday morning, July 6. Authorities report the wreck happened at around 9:31 a.m.
Various responders went to the scene at the intersection of Bainbridge Avenue and East Mosholu Park South. Reports show that a 46-year-old male was headed west on Bainbridge in a Honda CRV when it was involved in a crash with a 2006 Toyota Corolla headed south on East Mosholu.
As a result of the crash, the Honda then crashed into the 74-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the intersection at the time. The pedestrian suffered severe bodily injuries and was transported to St Barnabas in critical condition. The driver of the Toyota was identified as a 66-year-old female who remained at the crash scene.
The 46-year-old male driver of the Honda was arrested at the scene. No other details have been reported at this time.
