
Queens, NY (May 2, 2023) - At least one person suffered injuries in a car crash reported to officials in Queens on the evening of May 2. Multiple responders were seen rendering aid at the crash site at around 6:15 p.m.
Reports from local sources show the incident occurred on the Belt Parkway in the eastbound lanes near Merrick Boulevard. Traffic was stopped back to the Van Wyck Expressway while emergency crews worked in the area.
Currently, the total number of injured parties has not been reported. Ambulances were seen parked at the crash site and were used to transport those with serious injuries to local hospitals.
