
Monmouth Co., NJ (July 10, 2024) – A 21-year-old woman lost her life on Wednesday morning, July 10, after her vehicle was involved in a collision with a semi-truck in Monmouth County. The incident occurred just before 11:00 a.m. in Upper Freehold Township on County Road 539. An Acura sedan operated by Carla Rinconrumay of Trenton was headed north while a Mack truck was traveling south. The front of the truck and the right side of the Acura collided near milepost 39.2. Both vehicles were forced off the road and down an embankment before striking a utility pole. Rinconrumay was pronounced deceased on-site by paramedics. The driver of the Mack truck, identified as a 25-year-old man from Allentown, suffered minor injuries. Police in Monmouth County continue to investigate.
