Bethlehem Twp, NJ (July 15, 2025) – A serious crash involving a car and a parked tractor-trailer left two people injured on Tuesday afternoon in Bethlehem Township.
The collision occurred on the westbound side of I-78 near Exit 7 at the rest area around 1:34 p.m. Reports indicate a car struck a stationary tractor-trailer, leaving one person trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency responders worked to extricate the trapped individual, while medics treated a second person who suffered a severe arm injury. Due to the seriousness of the crash, a medevac helicopter was requested shortly after 1:45 p.m. to transport one of the victims to a trauma centre.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved. The condition of both injured parties remains unknown at this time.
The cause of the collision has not yet been determined. The New Jersey State Police continue to investigate the circumstances. Our thoughts are with the victims, and we hope for a full and swift recovery.
