Newark, NJ (September 16, 2025) – A deadly three-vehicle collision in Essex County claimed at least one life Monday morning, September 15. Authorities reported the crash occurred around 8 a.m. near the intersection of Frelinghuysen Avenue and Foster Street in Newark.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, emergency crews responded quickly to the scene. Despite their efforts, one individual tragically died as a result of the crash.
