Absecon, NJ (June 7, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Absecon on June 7. At around 10:45 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the accident scene on Route 30 near Delilah Road.
At this time, the pedestrian has not been identified to the public. The driver stayed at the scene and worked with police in cooperation with the investigation. At this time, the cause of the accident has not been reported. Both lanes of Route 30 were closed during the investigation, and local motorists were forced to find alternate routes. Local authorities are conducting an inquiry regarding the causes of the incident.
