New Jersey Pedestrian Accidents
Pedestrian accidents are some of the most catastrophic types of traffic accidents that take place in the US. Pedestrians often suffer worse injuries than those in passenger vehicles due to the fact that while they travel, they don’t have any protection against the force of fast-moving cars, trucks, and other types of vehicles.
Each year, in the state of New Jersey, there are around 200 pedestrian deaths related to car wrecks. About 30% of the fatalities that happen due to car accidents in New Jersey involve a pedestrian.
When you or someone you love sustains a serious injury in a pedestrian crash, you may be going through a difficult time. Especially when a loved one loses their life in an accident. Over half of reported pedestrian accidents in the U.S. are caused by the actions of a negligent driver. Drivers most often fail to yield the right of way to pedestrians, causing serious and even fatal collisions.
The law office of Metro Law has been working for decades to help injured pedestrians and their family members recover after they’re involved in accidents. Negligent drivers need to be held responsible for their careless actions, and those they victimize need to be able to recover without incident.
Our law firm can help you get the money you need to make a full financial recovery after you’re hurt in a pedestrian crash caused by another person. Or, if you’ve lost a loved one in a pedestrian accident, we can help you recover compensation to pay for funeral costs, emotional turmoil, pain, suffering, and more.
