Atlantic County, NJ – Three Lives Claimed by Auto Accident on Garden State Parkway near Milepost 44.6
Atlantic County, NJ (August 7, 2023) – Three people, including a driver and two passengers, lost their lives on Sunday night, August 6, in a fatal traffic accident.
Reports show the accident occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway near milepost 44.6. A Kia struck the rear-end of a Toyota, resulting in the Kia losing control and exiting the roadway before striking a tree, investigators said.
The driver of the Kia was identified as Sabrina Kontos, an Ocean Grove resident, age 24. Two passengers in the Kia at the time were identified as 27-year-old Asbury Park resident Dion Bullock and an unidentified Eatontown man, age 28.
All three were declared deceased at the crash scene. Authorities in Atlantic County continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
