Bridgewater, NJ – Fatal Wreck on I-287 at MP 16.6
Bridgewater, NJ (July 26, 2024) – A man from Whitehouse Station lost his life on Thursday night, July 25, after he was ejected from his motorcycle after an accident on Interstate 287 in Bridgewater. At around 7:36 p.m., police were sent to the scene near milepost 16.6.
Preliminary reports show that a Mazda passenger vehicle was headed north on the interstate while a Yamaha motorcycle operated by 28-year-old Mazen Ainaser was headed north behind the Mazda. Near milepost 16.6, the motorcycle left the roadway and struck the guardrail, was ejected before striking a guardrail support post. The motorcycle struck the rear-end of the Mazda, police said. Alnaser suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Presently the incident remains under police investigation.
