Bronx, NY (April 5, 2023) – A car crash happened on the evening of April 5 in the Bronx that required an emergency dispatch. At approximately 6:45 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of the accident on the Hutchinson River Parkway.
Reports from authorities show the collision occurred on the Hutchinson River Parkway near Bartow Avenue. At least one person suffered injuries in the crash, however, those involved have not been identified at this time.
Traffic was stopped back to Boston Post Road while emergency crews were present in the area. Police urged local motorists to find alternate routes while the crash scene was active with responders.
