Bronx, NY (July 16, 2024) – Two people were hurt in a car crash that happened at an intersection in Kingsbridge, the Bronx. At around 11:23 p.m., on July 16, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident on the Deegan Expressway near 230th Street. Fire crews were sent to the scene along with police and EMTs shortly after it occurred. The wreck involved four vehicles and led to the total closure of the southbound Deegan Expressway at 230th. Police are working to determine the cause of the incident. All four victims were treated and taken to the hospital as needed.
