Brooklyn, NY – Person Struck by Train at 36th St Station DNR

Brooklyn, NY (December 22, 2023) – A person was struck by a train in Brooklyn on the afternoon of December 22. At approximately 12:08 p.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the incident at 36th Street Station. An individual became trapped underneath the train under circumstances still being investigated by area authorities. First responders worked diligently to remove the individual from underneath the train at the scene. The victim was treated and taken to the hospital for further care. Their identity has not been reported at this time. 

Police in Brooklyn are still investigating. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victim.
