Camden, NJ – Pedestrian Suffers Head Injury After Being Struck at S 7th St & 9th St

Camden, NJ (October 30, 2025) – A man sustained injuries Tuesday morning, October 28, after a vehicle struck him near the intersection of South 7th Street and 9th Street in Camden.

Emergency crews arrived around 10:01 a.m. to find the victim lying on the ground, conscious but bleeding from the head. Responders quickly provided medical aid before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

According to initial reports, the pedestrian had been crossing the roadway when the collision occurred. The impact left debris scattered along the street, and officers temporarily restricted traffic in the area while investigators documented the scene. The driver involved remained on-site and cooperated with authorities.

Camden Police and EMS worked together to secure the area and ensure the victim received immediate care. Officials have not released the man’s current condition, but medical personnel confirmed that he sustained a significant head injury.

Investigators are continuing to examine the cause of the crash and any contributing factors, such as driver inattention or poor visibility.
