Dix Hills, NY (January 19, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash in Dix Hills left a woman seriously injured earlier this week. The crash happened on Sunday, January 18, along East Deer Park Road near Arielle Court.
Authorities said a 2017 Porsche was traveling north on East Deer Park Road when it began to fishtail. The driver lost control as the vehicle moved through the area near Arielle Court. The Porsche then crossed into the opposite lane.
After crossing the center line, the Porsche struck a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. Moments later, it also hit a 2022 Volkswagen. The chain reaction caused damage to all three vehicles involved in the crash.
A passenger riding in the Volkswagen suffered serious injuries. The driver of that vehicle was also hurt, though their injuries were described as minor. Both were taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Porsche was not injured in the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet Equinox was also reported to be unhurt. No other injuries were confirmed at the scene.
Emergency units responded to assist those involved and clear the roadway. At this time, authorities have not released additional details about what caused the Porsche to lose control.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
