Wall, NJ – Leonard Akers Killed in Fatal Collision on Rt 138 near Old Mill Rd
Wall, NJ (August 2, 2023) – One man lost his life in a three-vehicle accident that happened on Saturday, July 29, in Wall. The incident involved an SUV, a car, and a pickup truck and occurred at around 5:00 a.m.
Leonard Akers, 55, of Wall, lost his life in the collision. He was transported from the scene to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased sometime on Monday, July 31. A man, age 44, was driving the SUV involved in the collision. He was treated for injuries at the crash site.
The driver of the pickup, age 62, sustained no injuries in the crash. Both were residents of Howell. Police in Wall continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
