Egg Harbor, NJ – One Hurt in Rear-End Crash on Black Horse Pike

Egg Harbor Twp, NJ (February 21, 2024) – One driver was sent to the hospital after a serious car crash in Egg Harbor Township.

Reports show an SUV failed to stop for a school bus that was picking students up, causing a chain-reaction accident that involved three other vehicles. The incident occurred at around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20. A Honda CRV was traveling west on Black Horse Pike near Bayport Drive when the bus stopped, police said. The CRV did not stop for the bus, and it rear-ended a stopped Chevrolet Impala, according to police. The Chevrolet Impala then rear-ended a Camaro, which rear-ended a Nissan Rogue. The Honda then kept moving forward and rear-ended the bus. No students were injured, however, the Impala’s driver was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries. Police in Egg Harbor are still investigating the details of the crash.

We hope for the full recovery of the injured victim.

New Jersey Car Accidents

Egg Harbor, NJ - One Hurt in Rear-End Crash on Black Horse PikeIt is never easy to suffer injuries in a car accident. Sometimes, crash victims end up with injuries that send them to the hospital where they endure debilitating pain due to the extent of their wounds. On top of this pain and suffering, they must pay astronomical hospital bills that can cause them a lot of financial burden and stress. This can be too much for any one person to endure on their own. A lawyer can help you file a personal injury claim for financial compensation so you can get the justice you deserve.

Yearly, there are more than 6 million car wrecks in the United States. Millions of people sustain injuries in these accidents per year while tens of thousands end up losing their lives. Alarmingly, the majority of these collisions are preventable and caused by the actions of negligent drivers.

Negligent driving has become a prevalent problem in the US, especially in the past ten years. We, as American citizens, operate motor vehicles so often that it has almost become second nature. We are always in our cars, mostly every day, getting from one place to another. Due to this, we display a nonchalant attitude when we look at our phones or tablets while behind the wheel. However, any action that takes your attention away from the road in front of you while you’re driving can be fatal. Yearly, more than 3,000 individuals are killed due to distracted driving.
