Hamilton, NJ – Kerry Forest Killed in Three-Car Crash on Millville Ave near Pittsburgh Ave
Hamilton, NJ (March 24, 2023) – One woman lost her life in a head-on crash in Hamilton Township on Thursday, March 23. She was identified as 34-year-old Kerry Forest of Cumberland County.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., police responded to the scene on Millville Avenue. According to reports, the accident occurred on Millville Avenue near Pittsburgh Avenue.
A 2007 Hyundai Tucson driven by Forest was headed east on Millville Avenue when she was approaching an S curve west of Pittsburgh Avenue. Her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2014 Honda CRV driven by 50-year-old Kelly Connor of Vineland.
The crash continued into a 2021 Jeep Gladiator operated by Todd Ruymen, 44, of Vineland. Both Connor and Ruymen were transported to the hospital with injuries.
A young passenger, age 5, was flown to Cooper Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic was diverted in the area for around four hours while emergency responders worked to secure the scene.
Assisting at the scene were the Laureldale Fire Department, Mays Landing Fire Department, Richland Fire Department, Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, Dorothy Rescue Squad, AtlantiCare EMS, South Star, and several other agencies.
Police in Hamilton continue to investigate the details of the incident.
