Hope Twp, NJ (October 7, 2024) – A serious injury motorcycle crash occurred on October 5 on Route 80 in Warren County, involving two motorcyclists traveling eastbound. The incident took place around 6:00 p.m. at milepost 12.6.
According to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a 33-year-old operator of an Aprilia motorcycle collided with the rear of a 27-year-old riding a Kawasaki motorcycle. The force of the impact caused both riders to be thrown from their bikes, resulting in serious injuries.
Emergency responders quickly arrived to manage the situation and provide medical assistance. Both riders were transported to local hospitals for care; one was airlifted via medevac, while the other was taken by ground ambulance. The Kawasaki operator is from Paterson, NJ, and the Aprilia operator is from Wilkes-Barre, PA.
