Lawrence Twp, NJ – Passenger Killed in Wreck on Brunswick Pike
Lawrence Twp, NJ (March 29, 2024) – Police in Lawrence Township say that at around 1:43 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, they responded to a vehicle crash on Brunswick Pike near Whitehead Road Circle. A 2003 Suzuki Vitara struck a utility pole and was heavily damaged due to the wreck. The vehicle was driven by 49-year-old Delva Jonas who suffered serious yet non-fatal injuries. Jonas was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The 50-year-old passenger present in the vehicle at the time of the crash was identified as Jean Pierre, who was pronounced deceased on-site. Authorities in Lawrence Township continue to investigate the details of the accident.
