Manhattan, NY (December 25, 2024) – A massive pedestrian crash occurred Wednesday near the intersection of W 34th St and 6th Ave in the Garment District of Manhattan when a taxi cab jumped the curb and hit a group of six pedestrians. The incident, which took place at approximately 4:05 p.m., resulted in multiple injuries. According to the NYPD, three of the victims sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while three others were injured with minor wounds.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with several ambulances transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment. The victims, including two adult females and a child, were reported to be in stable condition, and none of the injuries were life-threatening.
