Manhattan, NY (June 21, 2023) – A man from Manhattan crashed his vehicle on Tuesday, June 20, injuring three people. The incident occurred in Chelsea at around 6:10 p.m.
Responders went to the scene near the intersection of 15th Street and 10th Avenue after receiving reports concerning the crash. A 12-year-old girl and two other individuals, ages 47 and 50, suffered injuries in the crash, sources said.
After striking the three individuals, the suspect then crashed into a glass building on the nearby corner, approximately two blocks from Google headquarters. The man had been claiming that Google was torturing him, according to reports.
Authorities continue to investigate the details of the accident. All three pedestrians were transported to Lenox Health Greenwich Village to be treated for injuries.
