Manhattan, NY – Two Police Injured in Collision on Robert F Kennedy Brg near Madison Ave
Manhattan, NY (January 3, 2024) – Two policemen suffered injuries in a traffic accident reported in Manhattan. The incident occurred at around 10:13 p.m. on the evening of January 3. Fire crews responded to the vehicle collision that required extrication on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge near Madison Avenue. Police arranged an emergency transport for the officers who suffered injuries in the accident, as both were trapped as a result of the incident. Traffic was blocked at 125th Street and Madison Avenue while emergency responders worked in the area. Both officers were transported by EMS from the scene to area hospitals for treatment. Their names have not been reported at this time.
