Bridgewater, NJ (November 12, 2024) – An injury motorcycle crash occurred on Monday, November 11, in Bridgewater. The incident took place around 6:26 p.m. in the parking lot of the Chimney Rock Crossing. According to Bridgewater Police Sgt. Daniel Hennessey, a Nissan Altima, and a Kawasaki motorcycle collided, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Authorities reported that the rider sustained a possible broken wrist but is expected to recover. Emergency responders, including fire personnel, quickly arrived at the scene to assist with the extraction of the vehicles and secure the area. The crash caused some traffic disruptions while officials worked to clear the scene and reopen the area.
The driver of the Nissan Altima remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No other injuries were reported, and the crash is under investigation.
