Manhattan, NY – Two Toddlers, Four Adults Hurt in Pedestrian Accident on Broadway at 190th St
Manhattan, NY (March 15, 2023) – Authorities are investigating after a car lost control and hit six individuals in Washington Heights before striking a building.
On Wednesday night, officers were protecting an active scene on the sidewalk of Broadway at 190th Street.
Authorities said the female motorist first fled the scene but later returned and was taken into jail. Two toddlers sustained minor facial injuries in the incident and were sent to a hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD added that four other people sustained leg injuries but were also stable at a local medical center.
Authorities in Manhattan continue to investigate and have not provided further details in the meantime.
