Newark, NJ (December 29, 2022) – A pedestrian crash reported in the North Broadway section of Newark sent one woman to an area hospital with injuries. On December 26, the Newark Police Department responded to the scene of a crash that occurred on Broadway.

According to law enforcement, a female pedestrian was walking in the 300 block of Broadway when she was struck by a vehicle.

The woman suffered injuries due to the crash. She was treated at the scene briefly and transported by ambulance to an area medical facility.

Firefighters and the police remained at the scene for an extended period as they worked to investigate. These investigations are currently ongoing.
