
Newark, NJ (December 29, 2022) – The police and firefighters responded to the scene of the crash that took place in the Central Business District, which resulted in injuries. On December 28, the Newark Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Branford Place.
Preliminary investigations provided by the police show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Branford Place in the area of Washington Street at around 9:05 a.m. The incident blocked the road, causing delays throughout the area.
Two people suffered injuries due to the accident. Both of the victims were provided care at the scene of the accident by EMS. The two victims were then transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care.
The incident remains under investigation.
