New York Traffic Collisions
Car crashes continue to be one of the main reasons individuals suffer injuries and lose their lives in the Garden State. Yearly, numerous individuals are sent to the hospital with severe injuries, including spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and more, due to auto accidents. Unfortunately, the majority of these wrecks happen at busy intersections throughout the state of New Jersey.
There are numerous reasons why accidents happen at intersections. One main reason is driver error. This includes actions like running red lights, improper turns, failing to yield, and more. Other times, it is usually a matter of inattention or not seeing another vehicle in time to avoid a collision.
Another main cause of car wrecks is when one driver attempts to drive through a yellow light at the last minute, causing a severe T-bone collision. This is especially hazardous because it does not leave enough time for either driver to avoid an accident.
There are some situations in which situations in which bad weather can also contribute to collisions. For instance, if it is raining, foggy, or snowing, and visibility is reduced, it can be harder to see other vehicles. Also, it can become increasingly difficult to stop in a safe manner if you end up sliding on the icy road.
