Long Valley, NJ (January 31, 2023) – Two people were sent to the hospital with injuries after a car crash late Monday night in Washington Township. Information from police shows the two-vehicle crash happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. 

Reports show the incident occurred on the bridge spanning the South Branch of the Raritan River at Schooley’s Mountain Road. Authorities said crews from Long Valley First Aid Squad Rescue 1 had to remove a door from one of the vehicles using special tools. 

Two individuals were transported to Hackettstown Hospital with injuries. A third person was treated at the scene by emergency responders. 

Police in Long Valley continue to investigate the details of the accident.
