North Lindenhurst, NY (May 22, 2026) – A two-car collision on Route 19 sent one of the vehicles through the entrance of a church, and as a result, injured a woman. Suffolk County Police Department rushed to the Albany Avenue and Route 109 intersection at 12:29 p.m.
The car came to rest inside the lobby of a church at 1179 Route 109. The driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
No other people were hurt in the accident. The identities of those involved had not been released at the time of publication.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
