The incident, reported by emergency services, took place at approximately 10:55 a.m. on the westbound side of the bridge near the Meeker Avenue exit.

According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the collision involved four vehicles, including a truck that overturned, spilling debris across the roadway and causing significant delays in the area.
