Queens, NY (November 21, 2024) – A fatal four-car crash occurred on Thursday morning on the Kosciuszko Bridge, resulting in one fatality and several injuries, including a child who was seriously hurt. The incident, reported by emergency services, took place at approximately 10:55 a.m. on the westbound side of the bridge near the Meeker Avenue exit.
According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the collision involved four vehicles, including a truck that overturned, spilling debris across the roadway and causing significant delays in the area. Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene, with firefighters actively working to extricate two individuals trapped in the wreckage. One of the occupants, a child, was reported as unresponsive but breathing, while another adult was found in cardiac arrest.
