Quinton, NJ (April 8, 2026) – One person died, and three others suffered injuries after a three-vehicle crash on Monday, April 6, along County Road 647 near mile marker 0.8. The New Jersey State Police responded to the scene at around 4 p.m.
Authorities reported that a 28-year-old driver from Quinton was traveling in a Chevrolet with a front-seat passenger when the crash occurred. Early findings show the driver crossed the centerline near the mile marker and struck the side of a Toyota traveling in the same direction.
After the initial impact, the Chevrolet continued forward and hit a Ford SUV also traveling northbound. Emergency units arrived and began assisting those involved in the accident.
Officials confirmed the driver of the Chevrolet died from injuries at the scene. The passenger in that vehicle suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Ford SUV and one passenger in that vehicle also sustained minor injuries. Paramedics transported both individuals to local hospitals for further evaluation and care.
Investigators continue to review the collision.
