Rahway, NJ – Major Auto Collision on St Georges Ave near W Hazelwood Ave
Rahway, NJ (August 11, 2023) – A car crash was reported to authorities in Rahway on the afternoon of August 10 that ended in injuries. Responders including EMTs, police, and fire crews went to the crash site to render aid and investigate the details of the incident.
Sources say the crash occurred on St Georges Avenue near West Hazelwood Avenue. The intersection was closed for several hours while crews worked on clearing the roadway and assisting those involved.
Reports show the wreck happened at around 2:30 p.m. St Georges Avenue was closed between West Lake Avenue and Maple Avenue while emergency responders were present on the road.
Police in Rahway are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
