Somerset, NJ (May 10, 2024) – Police in Franklin Township are investigating a fatal accident that happened in Somerset. Reports show the incident occurred on Route 27 at around 9:07 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 near Reler Lane. First responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid. An unidentified victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical professionals. Several officials worked at the scene for some time, causing significant traffic delays.
