Springfield, NJ – Truck Wreck on I-78 near MM 47.4 Ends in Injuries
Springfield, NJ (April 9, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to provide help at the scene of a truck accident that occurred in the Springfield area on Monday morning, April 8. Calls for help were received by the New Jersey State Police and local firefighters at around 5:00 a.m.
Official reports indicate that a tractor-trailer was involved in a collision with a Toyota passenger vehicle on Route 78 in Springfield. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately closed off the roadway near mile marker 47.4. One person involved in the accident was injured. The victim, identified only as the driver of the Toyota, was transported to an area hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
