Can an Injured Child Receive Compensation After a Crash in Manchester Township, NJ?
Yes. An injured child may be eligible to seek compensation after a motor vehicle crash in New Jersey when another party’s negligence contributed to the collision. It depends on the circumstances, compensation may be available for medical expenses, ongoing treatment, rehabilitation costs, pain and suffering, and other losses related to the child’s injuries.
Children commonly require specialized medical care after a crash, and some injuries can have long-term effects that are not immediately apparent. Follow-up treatment, physical therapy, and future medical needs can create significant financial burdens for families. Because children are still developing, healthcare providers may continue to monitor their recovery well after the initial treatment period.
