West Islip, NY (July 29, 2024) – A traffic accident was reported in West Islip on the afternoon of July 28 that resulted in injuries. Several responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the wreck occurred to help the people involved. Reports show the collision occurred on the Southern Street Parkway near the Robert Moses Causeway. One or more people were hurt in the wreck, according to reports.
