Egg Harbor, NJ – Pregnant Woman, One Other Killed in Wreck on Black Horse Pike

Egg Harbor, NJ (July 29, 2024) – A young woman was one of two individuals who lost their lives in a fiery accident on Friday, July 26, in Egg Harbor. According to reports, she was 8 years pregnant. Four vehicles were involved in the wreck that occurred on Black Horse Pike at around 8:15 p.m. Sources say it took place between Atlantic City and Philadelphia. The woman was identified as 21-year-old Escarlin Suriel. Suriel was pregnant with a daughter, Viviana, who also did not make it. Another woman who lost her life in the accident was identified as 22-year-old Gabriella Constrantino, of Pleasantville. Constrantino was riding in a westbound vehicle that crossed the eastbound lanes of the highway and struck Suriel’s vehicle before leaving the road and catching fire. According to reports, a fourth vehicle was struck by debris from the crash. Two kids, a boy and a girl, were inside that vehicle and were hospitalized in critical condition. Police in Egg Harbor continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
