Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Hamilton St in Franklin Twp, NJ

Franklin Township, NJ (July 23, 2026) – A 52-year-old woman died on Wednesday evening, July 22, after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Hamilton Street in Franklin Township.

Franklin Township Police were called to Hamilton Street, near Francis Street, around 8:35 p.m. for a report of a wreck involving a pedestrian. Radika Eagar, of Franklin Township, was crossing the road when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla, investigators said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. 

The driver of the Toyota was not hurt, investigators said. Police and several specialized units were called in to help document the roadway and gather evidence.

No further details about the collision were available. The investigation into what led to the crash is still ongoing.
