Brooklyn, NY - Woman Loses Life Due to Pedestrian Crash on Bay Ridge Ave near 13th Ave

Brooklyn, NY (January 17, 2024) - A serious accident occurred in Brooklyn on the evening of January 16. Responders were dispatched to the scene of the area at around 8:13 p.m. to help the involved individuals. According to reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Bay Ridge Avenue and 13th Avenue. The female victim has not been identified at this time. She received emergency care at the crash site but lost her life a short time later. The intersection of Bay Ridge Avenue and 13th Avenue was closed for an extended period of time while emergency crews worked to render aid at the wreck scene. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident.
