Manhattan, NY - Woman Hurt in Wreck on York Ave near E 87th St

Manhattan, NY (April 3, 2024) - A woman was critically injured after she was hit by a SUV in the upper east side of Manhattan. Sources say the wreck happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2. The 31-year-old woman was struck by a 71-year-old male driver operating a 2017 Land Rover up York Avenue near East 87th Street. Paramedics rushed the woman to a local hospital from the scene. Currently, her name has not been reported. 

Police in Manhattan continue to investigate.
