Brooklyn, NY (May 28, 2024) - On May 26, a deadly accident in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood took the life of one woman. Police say the wreck occurred when Juan Lopez, 32, was being pulled over after he ran a red light at the corner of Central Avenue and Gates Avenue. The wreck happened at around 5:30 a.m. Micah Dukes, 29, was ejected from the vehicle due to the collision. She was taken to an area hospital, where she later lost her life. Police in Brooklyn continue to investigate.
