West Milford, NJ (June 5, 2025) – A heartbreaking accident occurred on the evening of Tuesday, June 3, when a young man tragically lost his life in West Milford. Around 6:04 p.m., West Milford Police responded to the scene on Clinton Road following reports of a serious motor vehicle incident.
According to information released by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, a 20-year-old man from Haledon was a passenger in a Jeep Wrangler traveling along Clinton Road. For reasons still under investigation, the man fell from the moving vehicle. Emergency medical personnel rushed to the scene and attempted life-saving measures. Sadly, despite their efforts, the young man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have indicated that the investigation remains active and ongoing as they work to determine the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
