Clifton, NJ (October 10, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a serious accident on Friday, October 10, involving a black Tesla and a dirt bike rider on Crooks Avenue near the CVS Pharmacy in Clifton.
According to the Clifton Fire Department and EMS, the crash occurred around 2:37 p.m. when the two vehicles collided under unclear circumstances. Witnesses reported that the dirt bike rider was thrown onto the pavement following the impact. Firefighters, police officers, and paramedics arrived at the scene within minutes to assist those injured.
The male dirt bike rider sustained injuries that required immediate medical attention. Responders provided treatment at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further care. The Tesla driver remained on-site and cooperated with investigators. Authorities did not release the victim’s identity or the extent of his injuries.
The area around Crooks Avenue was temporarily closed as emergency personnel cleared debris and collected evidence.
