Absecon, NJ – Motorcycle Rider Injured in SUV Crash on White Horse Pike
Absecon, NJ (August 4, 2023) – Officials in Absecon are investigating after a motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning, August 3rd. The accident took place just before 8:00 a.m. on White Horse Pike near Shore Road.
According to a report from the scene, a 65-year-old man from Galloway was riding his motorcycle on White Horse Pike. At the same time, a 34-year-old man from Atlantic City was approaching the intersection coming from the opposite direction in an SUV. The two vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. The motorcyclist was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was uninjured in the collision.
The Absecon Police Department is looking into the circumstances of the crash at this time. Anyone with details is asked to contact authorities. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
