Structure Fires in the Bronx

Bronx, NY - One Injured in Deli Fire on E 178th StStructure fires happen constantly in the United States. Hundreds of thousands of structure fires are reported yearly in the United States. These fires cause thousands of people to sustain injuries and lose their lives each year. Some of the foremost causes of New Jersey apartment fires, building fires, and house fires are:

  • Broken appliances
  • Defective wiring
  • Gas lines that were improperly installed
  • Damaged gas lines
  • Clogged chimney flues
  • Malfunctioning boilers or furnaces

Along with determining how the fire happened, it is also vital to figure out whether a third party contributed to its cause or the inability of a resident of the building to exit the premises safely.

If the action, inaction, or negligence of a third party is believed to have caused the fire, injured victims may be able to file claims for damages or wrongful death.

If you or someone you love were hurt in a structure fire, it is a possibility that the negligence of another person caused your injuries. Some people who often contribute to structure fires are landlords, property owners, or home owners. When these individuals do not pay attention to the safety of their guests or residents, serious property damage or even injuries may occur.

Car crashes or industrial accidents may also cause burn injuries. In these types of accidents, you or a loved one may qualify for financial compensation when you work with a burn injury attorney.
