Bronx, NY – Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Westchester Ave near Southern Blvd
Bronx, NY (July 11, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident in Longwood, Bronx, on the evening of July 11. Shortly before 9:30 p.m., responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash on Westchester Avenue.
Sources say the crash took place on Westchester Avenue near Southern Boulevard when a vehicle struck the pedestrian. Paramedics transported the injured victim to the hospital shortly after the accident happened.
What caused the incident to take place has not been reported at this time. Authorities in the Bronx are still working to determine the reason the incident occurred.
