Clifton, NY – Major Auto Accident on Rt 46 near Valley Rd
Clifton, NY (March 17, 2023) – A car accident blocked two lanes of a roadway in Clifton on the morning of March 17. At approximately 10:30 a.m., crews were dispatched to the wreck site on Route 46.
Local officials report the incident took place on Route 46 near Valley Road. Vehicles crashed and injured at least one involved individual.
Traffic was stopped back to Union Boulevard while responders worked in the area. Drivers were urged to find different routes while emergency workers were present.
One or more victims were treated for injuries and taken to area hospitals as necessary. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident are currently being carried out by local police.
