Bronx, NY – Three-Year-Old Hospitalized After Fall From Apartment Building on Sheridan Ave

Bronx, NY (August 16, 2022) – Scaffolding is being credited with saving the life of a 3-year-old girl after she fell from an apartment building in the Bronx on Wednesday, August 17th. 

The incident took place in the Concourse Village neighborhood in the 1500th block of Sheridan Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. when the child fell from the third floor of the building and landed on some scaffolding on the second floor. 

The girl was taken to an area hospital. The extent of her injuries has not been released but officials say she is expected to survive. 

Police are collecting surveillance videos so they can understand exactly how the fall happened.
